Shooting Outside Utah Church Leaves 2 Dead and 8 Injured
A shooting during a funeral service outside a church in Salt Lake City, Utah, resulted in at least two fatalities and eight injuries, with three victims in critical condition, according to local authorities.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a shooting occurred outside the Jesus Christ Church on 660 North Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday evening, leaving two dead and eight wounded. Police confirmed that three of the injured are in critical condition.
Authorities reported that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the suspect’s vehicle remains unidentified. Search operations are ongoing in the area between Redwood Road and the Jordan River.
Local officials verified that some of the wounded were transported to nearby hospitals in private vehicles before police arrived. Redwood Road near the church has been closed, and the public is advised to avoid the area until further notice.
