Trump Announces Venezuela Must Buy US Goods with Oil Revenue
US President Donald Trump stated that Venezuela will only be allowed to purchase American-made products with proceeds from a new oil agreement, emphasizing agricultural goods, medicine, and infrastructure equipment.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, US President Donald Trump declared that Venezuela must exclusively buy American products using revenue from a newly established oil deal. In a post on Truth Social, Trump outlined that Caracas would be restricted to purchasing US-manufactured goods, including agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and infrastructure supplies for energy sector improvements.
Trump emphasized Venezuela’s commitment to selecting the US as its primary trade partner. The Trump administration has asserted exclusive claims over Venezuela’s resources, demanding the expulsion of Chinese and Russian companies from the country.
