Israeli Regime’s Failed Attempt to Assassinate Senior Hamas Commander

The Israeli military has admitted that its attempt to assassinate a senior commander in Gaza has failed, according to Palestinian sources. The targeted Hamas official remains active in the region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime’s military radio, citing a military source, acknowledged that Tel Aviv’s attempt to assassinate a senior commander from Hamas’s Qassam Brigades has ended in failure. The targeted operation, which took place yesterday, did not achieve its objective, and the Israeli army is now investigating the reasons behind the mission’s failure.

The Hamas commander, who operates in the Gaza area, was reportedly the intended target of the attack. The Israeli military launched strikes on Gaza yesterday, claiming the operation aimed to eliminate Muhammad Alwan, a commander of the Al-Tuffah Battalion.
