Joulani’s Army Targets SDF Checkpoint in Aleppo Amid Escalating Tensions

The Joulani regime’s military in Syria has attacked a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) checkpoint in Aleppo’s Ashrafiyah neighborhood, claiming no civilian harm, following clashes between the two factions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Joulani regime’s army in Syria announced it had targeted a checkpoint belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Aleppo’s Ashrafiyah neighborhood. The attack followed recent clashes between the Joulani-affiliated militants and the SDF, with the regime asserting that no civilians were harmed in the operation.

The statement accused the SDF checkpoint of detaining civilians, intimidating locals, and preventing their movement. The Syrian army had earlier imposed a curfew starting at 1:30 PM local time in the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyah, and Bani Zeid neighborhoods of Aleppo, which remains in effect until further notice.

The Joulani-led forces declared they would launch targeted operations against SDF positions in Ashrafiyah, Sheikh Maqsoud, and Bani Zeid, urging civilians to avoid all SDF-controlled areas. The militants, aligned with Abu Mohammad Joulani’s authority, claimed they were working to ensure the safety of civilians seeking to flee alleged oppression by the SDF.
