Hezbollah Secretary-General Accuses Trump of Global Interference

Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, has accused U.S. President Donald Trump of seeking to interfere in regions worldwide to suppress democratic and Islamic freedoms, while praising Iran’s resistance against foreign dominance.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem delivered a speech commemorating the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) mission and the graduation ceremony of 335 Quran memorizers. He emphasized that the Prophet’s mission represents the greatest day in human history, marking the divine revelation of Islam’s comprehensive message.

Sheikh Qassim stated, ‘The noble prophetic mission centers on the Quran, which clarifies all laws of life and guides humanity toward truth. Where divine command exists, justice prevails.’

He further accused President Trump of attempting to interfere globally to undermine democratic and Islamic freedoms, seize resources, and control populations. Qassim highlighted Iran’s independence since 1979, asserting its reliance on national capabilities and support for honorable resistance, particularly against Israeli occupation. He condemned alleged attempts by foreign powers to weaken Iran through provocations, chaos, and exploitation of economic protests.
