Trump Invites Netanyahu to Join Gaza Peace Council Amid International Outreach

U.S. President Donald Trump has requested Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to join the so-called Gaza Peace Council, with invitations extended to leaders of over 50 countries, though no responses have been confirmed yet.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has formally invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to participate in the so-called Gaza Peace Council. The invitation is part of a broader diplomatic push, with Trump also reaching out to leaders from more than 50 nations, including Argentina, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Turkey. However, no official responses have been received thus far.

The council’s formation has drawn criticism, particularly after the inclusion of figures such as Trump’s son-in-law, the U.S. Secretary of State, and Steve Witkoff. Critics argue that the U.S., following its increased influence in the UN Security Council, is attempting to replicate a similar model for the Gaza Peace Council.
