Turkish FM Accuses Mossad of Meddling in Iran’s Affairs, Stresses Solidarity Against Terrorism

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has publicly accused Israel’s Mossad of direct interference in Iran’s recent developments, stating that the intelligence agency makes no effort to conceal its role. Speaking at an annual press conference with Turkish and international journalists in Istanbul, Fidan emphasized that Turkey remains fully aligned with Iran in countering terrorism and will continue this cooperation.
Fidan warned against external meddling in Iran’s domestic challenges, expressing hope that Tehran would resolve its internal issues without foreign intervention. He highlighted the historical collaboration between Turkey and Iran in combating terrorist threats, particularly along their shared northwestern border.
Regarding U.S. threats against Iran, the Turkish diplomat advocated for diplomatic solutions, stating: “The best path to resolve tensions is undoubtedly through negotiation and diplomacy. We tell America that the definitive solution is not war or military attack, but dialogue.”
The minister’s comments come amid recent peaceful protests in Iranian cities over economic pressures, which were reportedly hijacked by armed terrorists and rioters seeking violence. Fidan’s remarks also addressed Western and Zionist media’s exaggerated coverage of these events, which drew criticism even from some Israeli analysts.
Massive pro-government demonstrations across Iran recently condemned what they described as U.S.-and Israeli-backed terrorist activities, showing strong public support for the Islamic Republic and its leadership.
