Fire at Karachi Shopping Mall Leaves 5 Dead, 20 Injured

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a devastating fire broke out at the Gul Plaza shopping mall in Karachi, claiming the lives of 5 people and injuring 20 others. The blaze, which started on the first floor of the commercial complex located in a densely populated area of the city, has been partially contained, with approximately 30% of the fire extinguished by Sunday morning.

Authorities have deployed 20 firefighting teams to combat the flames, though concerns remain high regarding the potential collapse of the building. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit in one of the mall’s shops. Local law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident to determine further details.
