Turkish Foreign Minister Accuses Mossad of Interference in Iran’s Affairs, Stresses Solidarity Against Terrorism

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has accused Israel’s Mossad of openly interfering in Iran’s internal affairs during an exclusive interview, while reaffirming Turkey’s solidarity with Iran in combating terrorism.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, speaking on the sidelines of an annual meeting with Turkish and international journalists in Istanbul, accused Israel’s Mossad of direct involvement in Iran‘s recent developments. “Mossad is openly interfering in Iran’s affairs, and they do not deny it,” Fidan stated. He also noted Israel’s attempts to alter the nature of protests in Iran but expressed hope that the Iranian government would resolve domestic challenges swiftly and prevent foreign interference.

Fidan emphasized Turkey’s unwavering solidarity with Iran in counterterrorism efforts, particularly against potential threats from terrorist groups near Iran’s northwestern border. “We have always stood in full solidarity with Iran against terrorism, and this will continue,” he said.

Regarding U.S. threats against Iran, Fidan advocated for diplomacy over military action, urging Washington to pursue negotiations. “The best path to resolve tensions is through dialogue, not war,” he asserted.

Recent peaceful protests in Iran over economic hardships were reportedly hijacked by armed terrorists and agitators, escalating into violence. Meanwhile, Western and Zionist media were accused of exaggerating the unrest, drawing criticism even from some Israeli analysts.

In a show of support for the Islamic Republic, Iranians recently held mass rallies in Tehran and other cities, condemning U.S.- and Israeli-backed destabilization efforts.
