Trump Repeats Baseless Claims Against Iran, Warns of Military Action

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated unfounded allegations against Iran in a post on his Truth Social platform. He claimed that a massive naval fleet, led by the USS Abraham Lincoln, is rapidly advancing toward Iran, larger than the fleet previously sent to Venezuela. Trump warned that the fleet is “ready, willing, and able” to act swiftly and forcefully if necessary, urging Iran to return to negotiations for a “fair and equitable deal without nuclear weapons.”
Trump did not address past U.S. violations of agreements with Iran, despite ongoing indirect talks between Tehran and Washington. He further escalated his rhetoric, stating, “Time is running out, it’s really critical!” and recalling his previous warnings to Iran. He referenced the “Midnight Hammer” operation, which he described as a significant blow to Iran, and cautioned that future actions would be “much worse.”
