Putin Meets with Al-Julani in Kremlin, Stresses Bilateral Progress and Economic Cooperation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Abu Mohammad al-Julani, the self-proclaimed president of Syria, in the Kremlin on Wednesday for discussions on bilateral relations and economic cooperation.
President Putin expressed Moscow’s pleasure in hosting al-Julani and highlighted the progress in mutual relations and renewed momentum in economic collaboration during their meeting.
“Significant achievements have been made in the development of Russia-Syria relations,” Putin stated. “Economic cooperation has moved past a ‘deadlock’ and achieved notable progress that must be maintained. Bilateral relations are advancing due to Damascus’s efforts.”
He further added, “Representatives from Russia’s construction sector are ready for joint cooperation in Syria’s reconstruction. We commend the Syrian president’s efforts to restore Syria’s territorial integrity and congratulate the acceleration of this process. Moscow has consistently supported the restoration of Syria’s territorial integrity and backs al-Julani’s efforts in this regard.”
