Egypt’s Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Qatari and Omani Counterparts on Regional Developments

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held separate telephone discussions with Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi. The talks focused on bilateral relations, regional developments, and efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East.
In his conversation with Qatar’s foreign minister, both officials examined key regional issues of mutual concern. They emphasized the need to intensify efforts to contain tensions and prevent further instability in the region. The ministers agreed that diplomatic solutions should be prioritized to create conditions for political resolutions that enhance regional and international security.
Both sides also stressed the importance of adhering to diplomatic processes to facilitate the resumption of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States. They underscored that such negotiations should aim for a comprehensive agreement that considers all parties’ interests while strengthening regional stability.
Similarly, in his discussion with Oman’s foreign minister, Abdelatty reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and address regional tensions. The two ministers agreed on the necessity of diplomatic solutions to avoid further instability and support sustainable political resolutions for regional security.
The talks also covered the latest developments regarding Iran’s nuclear program, with both Egypt and Oman reiterating their commitment to diplomatic efforts for reviving negotiations between Iran and the U.S. They emphasized that any agreement should be comprehensive and contribute to regional and global stability.
