Israeli Forces Shoot and Wound Palestinian Teen in West Bank Clash

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Palestinian Red Crescent teams treated a 17-year-old boy wounded by live ammunition during an Israeli military incursion into Beit Ummar in the southern West Bank. Local sources reported that Israeli forces deployed tear gas, stun grenades, and live fire against Palestinian residents, creating widespread panic in the area.
After the shooting, Israeli soldiers attempted to pursue and arrest the injured teen, but Red Crescent personnel and local youths intervened to evacuate him to a hospital. The incident occurred as Israeli military and settler attacks across the West Bank have intensified dramatically since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2025.
Official Palestinian statistics indicate at least 1,110 Palestinians have been killed, over 11,500 wounded, and more than 21,000 detained in the West Bank during the conflict. The figures highlight the severe humanitarian and security crisis in the occupied territory, where home demolitions, forced displacement, and settlement expansion continue unabated.
