Four Palestinians Killed as 11 Nations Demand Reopening of Gaza Border Crossings

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli regime drones targeted a group of Palestinians near Al-Maki Square in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, killing two and injuring dozens. Palestinian media reported two more Palestinians were shot dead by Zionist forces in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
The ongoing Zionist attacks, severe cold, and the continued closure of the Rafah crossing have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, despite the second phase of the ceasefire agreement taking effect. Palestinian sources also indicate that the Israeli regime’s military demolished buildings in Rafah and fired into areas east of Khan Younis.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his cabinet’s commitment to disarming Hamas and the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, Riyad Mansour, Palestine’s permanent representative to the UN, stated that the Israeli regime has killed at least 500 Palestinians since the ceasefire began and continues its destruction.
Hamas announced its readiness to transfer full administrative control of Gaza to a Palestinian technocratic committee, emphasizing the need to reopen the Rafah crossing in both directions without Zionist obstruction. Hazem Qassem, a spokesperson for Hamas, confirmed that all necessary files and committees for the full handover of power are prepared.
Eleven Western nations, including nine European countries, Canada, and Japan, have urged Tel Aviv to reopen all crossings into Gaza to allow humanitarian aid and halt demolition operations in the West Bank.
