Cuban Foreign Minister Warns Trump: ‘We Are Always Ready for War’ Amid Fuel Blockade

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla has strongly condemned the United States’ latest measures to block fuel supplies to Cuba, stating that Washington aims to impose harsh living conditions on the Cuban people through an energy blockade. In a post on the social media platform X, Rodriguez declared, ‘We vehemently denounce the new escalation of US actions against Cuba. Washington is now seeking to enforce a complete blockade on our country’s fuel supply.’
Rodriguez emphasized Cuba’s revolutionary spirit, asserting, ‘We are a revolutionary people and will always be ready to fight.’ He accused the US of justifying its actions with false narratives portraying Cuba as a regional security threat.
The remarks follow US President Donald Trump’s recent executive order imposing additional tariffs on imports from countries directly or indirectly supplying petroleum products to Cuba. This move aligns with Washington’s broader escalation of hostile policies against Havana, coinciding with rising tensions and unilateral US actions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
