Syria and SDF Agreement to Take Effect Monday Following Military Operations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syria‘s Information Minister Hamza al-Mustafa confirmed that the agreement reached with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) will be formally implemented starting Monday. The minister stated that this agreement follows recent military operations in eastern and northeastern Syria.

In an interview with Syrian television, al-Mustafa emphasized that the new agreement outlines the implementation mechanisms for the January 18 accord. Under the terms, SDF fighters will be individually integrated into military units affiliated with Syria’s Ministry of Defense.

The Information Minister further revealed that control over the Rumailan and Suwaydiyah oil fields, along with Qamishli Airport, will be transferred within the next ten days.
