Israeli Regime’s Intelligence Failure in Gaza Strip Exposed by Analyst

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli analyst Nadav Iyal of Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper has revealed that the Shin Bet security service has not successfully recruited any high-level or influential agents within Hamas’ command structure since Israel’s 2005 withdrawal from Gaza. The analyst described this situation as a ‘terrifying reality’ that highlights multiple intelligence failures by the occupying regime.
The report emphasizes that Hamas has become the most challenging intelligence target in the Middle East, transforming into a closed, secretive, disciplined, and ideologically-driven organization. Israeli military and intelligence services reportedly underestimated Palestinian resistance capabilities in creating strategic surprises.
Hamas has demonstrated its ability to conduct surprise attacks and missile launches effectively, but the Al-Aqsa Storm operation marked a significant difference in scale, power, and strategic objectives. This operation represented a deep, extensive, and completely unexpected strategic move by the resistance group.
