Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces Confirm Full Control of Iraq-Syria Border

Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have asserted complete control over the Iraq-Syria border, with terrorist elements unable to infiltrate the region, according to a senior PMF commander.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Salah Fadel al-Issawi, a commander of Iraq‘s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in Al-Anbar province, confirmed that the entire shared border between Iraq and Syria is now under full control. Al-Issawi emphasized that terrorist elements no longer have the capability to infiltrate the border region.
The PMF commander stated that areas from Rabia in Syria to Al-Tanf, as well as Arar and desert regions in western Al-Anbar, are completely secure and under control. Al-Issawi further noted that all unofficial crossings along the Iraq-Syria border have been closed, with military forces in the area maintaining full readiness to counter any potential terrorist incursions.
