Hungary’s Orban Reiterates Opposition to Ukraine’s EU Membership

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has reaffirmed his country’s opposition to Ukraine joining the European Union, warning that Kyiv’s accession would drag other members into war.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban reiterated his opposition to Ukraine’s potential membership in the European Union during a social media post on Saturday. Orban stated that Europeans do not want their money flowing to Ukraine nor support its EU accession.

The Hungarian leader warned that Ukraine’s membership would inevitably involve other EU nations in its ongoing conflict. Orban emphasized that from Hungary’s perspective, Ukraine’s entry into the bloc remains unacceptable under any circumstances or conditions.
