Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Sudani Meets Italian Ambassador in Baghdad to Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Stability

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani welcomed Italian Ambassador Nicola Ventana in Baghdad, with discussions focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing recent Middle East developments.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani met with Nicola Ventana, Italy’s ambassador to Baghdad, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and regional stability. The talks covered key areas for economic collaboration and mutual interests between the two nations.

Both sides also exchanged views on recent developments in the Middle East, with Al-Sudani reaffirming Iraq’s commitment to supporting regional stability and preventing the escalation of conflicts. He emphasized dialogue as the primary solution to regional crises.

Ambassador Ventana conveyed a message from Italy’s Prime Minister expressing Rome’s willingness to expand economic cooperation with Iraq and support Baghdad’s constructive role in promoting regional stability.
