According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi engaged in a phone discussion addressing key issues, including Iran’s peaceful nuclear program and regional developments. The leaders exchanged views on the escalating tensions in the region, with a focus on recent provocative actions by the United States.

President el-Sisi expressed deep concern over the rising tensions and emphasized the need to avoid further escalation. He reiterated Egypt’s opposition to military solutions, stating that political dialogue remains the best approach to resolving ongoing crises.

The Egyptian president affirmed his country’s continued efforts to support a peaceful resolution to Iran’s nuclear dossier. In response, President Pezeshkian acknowledged Egypt’s constructive role in de-escalating regional tensions and stressed the importance of strengthening political coordination with Cairo.
