Trump Leaves Caracas’ Share of Venezuelan Oil Undetermined Amid Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed in a press briefing that Caracas’ share of revenue from Venezuelan oil sales has not yet been agreed upon. He emphasized that the U.S. will sell a significant portion of Venezuela’s oil and retain a share of the proceeds.
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro previously accused the U.S. of seeking to plunder the country’s oil in a letter to OPEC members. Trump also asserted that oil shipments to Cuba have been halted and urged Mexico’s president to cease sending oil to Cuba, claiming these measures would not trigger a humanitarian crisis.
Additionally, Trump revealed the start of negotiations with European leaders regarding Greenland, describing the potential agreement as critical for national security.
