Gaza Health Ministry Warns 6,000 Patients Urgently Need Medical Care Outside Strip

The Gaza Health Ministry has reported that 6,000 Palestinian patients require immediate medical treatment outside the enclave, warning that delays could cost lives, while Israeli authorities announced the reopening of the Rafah crossing.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Gaza Health Ministry has emphasized that 6,000 Palestinian patients in the region urgently need medical services outside the Gaza Strip. The ministry warned that their lives are at risk and stressed the necessity of immediate evacuation.
Under current mechanisms, transferring this number of patients would take years, the ministry added. The Israeli regime had earlier announced the reopening of the Rafah crossing, but the Gaza government’s media office stated that an additional 22,000 patients and injured individuals also require medical care outside the territory.
Some reports indicate that over 80,000 Palestinians are also seeking to return to the Gaza Strip.
