Egypt and Saudi Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza and Sudan Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, discussed the escalating tensions in Gaza and Sudan during a phone call. The ministers stressed the importance of halting regional violence and rejecting the use of force.
Tamim Khalaf, spokesperson for Egypt’s Foreign Ministry, stated that both officials emphasized reducing tensions and intensifying efforts to resolve crises through political dialogue. They also highlighted the necessity of continued diplomatic engagement to support regional security.
The call addressed developments in the Gaza ceasefire agreement and the significance of implementing the second phase of Donald Trump’s peace plan. The ministers also examined the deteriorating humanitarian and security conditions in Sudan, urging a swift humanitarian truce.
Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s support for Sudan’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, while both sides prioritized establishing safe humanitarian corridors and the withdrawal of Zionist forces from conflict zones.
