High-Level Coordination Framework Delegation Heads to Erbil for Iraqi Presidency Consensus

A high-ranking delegation from Iraq’s Coordination Framework is traveling to Erbil to agree on a joint candidate for the presidency, as the parliament’s session for electing a president faces another delay.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a high-level delegation from Iraq‘s Coordination Framework is set to visit Erbil to finalize a consensus candidate for the country’s presidency. The delegation includes prominent figures such as Hadi al-Amiri, Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani, and Mohsen al-Mandalawi.
The move comes as the parliamentary session to elect Iraq’s president was postponed for the second time, underscoring the ongoing political challenges in forming a unified government. The delegation’s discussions in Erbil aim to break the deadlock and facilitate the selection process.
