Zelensky Addresses Ukraine Peace Talks as Next Round Set for Abu Dhabi
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has outlined his stance on the resumption of peace talks in Ukraine. The next round of negotiations is scheduled for February 4-5 (15-16 Bahman) in Abu Dhabi, with Ukraine expressing readiness to engage in the discussions.
A trilateral security working group meeting, attended by representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, was held in Abu Dhabi last Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile, foreign media reports have revealed aspects of a US peace proposal, which includes stabilizing contact lines and addressing the status of eastern Ukrainian regions.
The Kremlin has previously stated that resolving territorial issues and the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbas are fundamental conditions for peace.
