Cuba Denies Allegations of Supporting Terrorism, Rejects US Security Threat Designation

Cuba has officially denied any involvement in supporting or financing terrorist organizations, rejecting its inclusion on the US list of national security threats while expressing readiness for bilateral cooperation with Washington.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Cuba‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a formal statement refuting allegations of supporting or financing terrorist or extremist groups. The statement emphasized that Cuba has never hosted foreign military bases or intelligence stations, calling its designation as a US national security threat “completely unacceptable.”

The Cuban government, based in Havana, also expressed willingness to expand bilateral cooperation with Washington to address shared security challenges. This comes as the administration of US President Donald Trump continues to assert dominance over Latin America under the Monroe Doctrine, referring to the region as Washington’s “backyard” and seeking exclusive control over its resources.
