Military Clashes Continue in Sudan as Army Targets Rapid Support Forces in Darfur

Sudan’s military has launched attacks on Rapid Support Forces positions in Darfur, targeting weapon depots and fuel tanks amid ongoing clashes between rival factions.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, ongoing military clashes between forces loyal to General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Sudan’s army chief, and General Hamidti, commander of the Rapid Support Forces, have intensified across Darfur. Sudanese army forces struck Rapid Support Forces positions in Zalengei city and Nyala airport in southern Darfur, targeting weapon depots, ammunition stores, and fuel tanks. Eyewitnesses reported hearing consecutive explosions and seeing plumes of smoke rising near Nyala airport as the conflict escalates.
