Israeli Forces Abduct Two Syrian Youths in Quneitra Amid Escalating Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian sources have reported new Israeli military movements in southern Syria, including the abduction of two young men in Quneitra. Local sources confirmed that Israeli soldiers seized the Syrians near a village in the southern outskirts of the province.
Additional reports indicate that Israeli forces entered the connecting road between the settlement of Jubbata al-Khashab and the village of Ofanya in northern Quneitra, establishing a checkpoint. Witnesses stated that Israeli troops conducted searches of passersby at the location.
This incident follows a pattern of increased Israeli military activity in Syria since the fall of the previous Syrian government. Earlier this year, Israel bombed areas near Damascus under the pretext of protecting Druze communities.
Since the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s government, the Israeli army has repeatedly crossed the buffer zone between the Golan Heights and Syria, maintaining control over areas adjacent to the occupied Golan in Daraa and Quneitra provinces.
