Trump Announces Trade Agreement with India, New Delhi to Halt Russian Oil Imports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a significant trade agreement with India in a social media post on Monday. The deal includes India halting oil imports from Russia in favor of U.S. and potentially Venezuelan oil.
Trump stated that reciprocal tariffs between the two nations will be reduced from 25% to 18%, with India also moving toward eliminating non-tariff barriers entirely. The agreement marks a strategic shift in India’s energy procurement and strengthens economic ties with the U.S.
