UK Revokes Russian Diplomat’s Credentials in Retaliatory Move

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the UK Foreign Office announced on Monday that it has revoked the credentials of a Russian diplomat in a retaliatory measure. The decision comes after Russia expelled a British diplomat last month, a move the UK described as “unjustified and baseless.”

Russian Ambassador Andrey Kelin was summoned to the UK Foreign Office to explain Moscow’s decision to expel the British diplomat. The UK condemned Russia’s actions in the strongest terms, stating that it will not tolerate intimidation of its embassy staff.

London further emphasized its stance by declaring that the revocation of the Russian diplomat’s credentials is a direct response to Russia’s earlier actions. The UK has made it clear that it will not accept any form of diplomatic intimidation.
