Erdogan Hails Syria Agreements as New Chapter for the Nation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated during a cabinet meeting that recent agreements in Syria have opened a new chapter for the nation. He emphasized the importance of resolving the issue of northern Syria without bloodshed, advocating for a unified army, government, and sovereignty in Syria.

Erdogan also welcomed the agreements reached between the Syrian government and the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) last month, aligning with Turkey’s perspective. He reiterated Turkey’s stance against those who profit from conflict and seek to escalate tensions.

The comprehensive agreement” signed between Syrian Kurdish forces and the regime of Abu Muhammad al-Julani, which was finalized on Friday, came into effect yesterday.
