Ukraine’s President Zelensky Withholds Details on Response Plans to Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declined to disclose response strategies to recent Russian attacks following a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in Kyiv, while expressing support for de-escalation efforts in Abu Dhabi talks.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Wednesday that he would not reveal Ukraine‘s planned responses to Russia’s recent military actions. The announcement came after his meeting with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in Kyiv.

Zelensky also affirmed Kyiv’s support for any initiatives aimed at reducing tensions during the upcoming negotiations in Abu Dhabi. The Ukrainian leader had outlined his stance on resuming peace talks earlier, confirming that the next round of discussions would take place on February 4-5 in Abu Dhabi.

The President emphasized Ukraine’s readiness for negotiations and expressed hope for productive outcomes. A trilateral security working group meeting involving representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States was held in Abu Dhabi over the weekend.
