UNIFIL Accuses Israel of Violating UN Resolution 1701 with Drone Flights

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, UNIFIL has reported Israeli drone flights near Kafrkela as a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. During a routine patrol, UNIFIL forces detected two hostile drones, one of which carried an unidentified object and entered an area posing a security threat to international troops.
In response, UNIFIL soldiers followed standard protocols and took necessary defensive actions. One of the drones detonated a sonic bomb approximately 50 meters from peacekeeping forces. Technical analysis confirmed the drones belonged to the Israeli military, which crossed the Blue Line, breaching Resolution 1701.
UNIFIL condemned Israel’s actions as a clear violation of international law and called for an immediate halt to such activities.
