U.S. Department of Defense Confirms $3 Billion Military Equipment Sale to Saudi Arabia

The U.S. Department of Defense has approved the initial sale of F-15 fighter jet support services and related equipment to Saudi Arabia, valued at $3 billion, pending final congressional approval.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of Defense has issued a preliminary approval for the sale of military support services and equipment related to F-15 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. The deal, estimated at $3 billion, includes maintenance services, technical support, spare parts, and necessary equipment for the Saudi Air Force’s F-15 fleet.
The Pentagon emphasized that the sale, if finalized, would enhance Saudi Arabia’s defense capabilities and maintain the operational readiness of its F-15 aircraft. However, the agreement still requires final approval from the U.S. Congress before it can proceed.
