Presidents of China and Russia Emphasize Expansion of Bilateral Relations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping underscored the significance of expanding bilateral relations during a video conference. Putin described the ties between the two nations as a stabilizing force in today’s global landscape.
Pointing to sustained growth in economic cooperation in 2025, Putin revealed that bilateral trade had exceeded $200 billion for three consecutive years. He also welcomed China‘s decision to lift visa requirements for Russian citizens.
The Russian president praised the exemplary cooperation between the two countries and expressed Moscow’s readiness to continue close coordination with Beijing on regional and global issues.
President Xi Jinping emphasized the need for a comprehensive plan to further develop bilateral relations, stating that the partnership between China and Russia has entered a new phase of growth and development.
