Islamic Jihad Warns Against Netanyahu’s Pretexts to Prolong Gaza War

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammed al-Hindi, the deputy secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is attempting to avoid adhering to agreements by raising continuous pretexts.
Al-Hindi highlighted Tel Aviv’s recent positions during negotiations and field developments, stressing that the systematic killing of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip persists. He noted that this policy has been evident in both phases of the agreement.
The Islamic Jihad official also pointed to the hidden objectives of the Israeli regime, claiming that Tel Aviv seeks to establish an equation where Gaza’s political sovereignty is handed over to U.S. President Donald Trump while security control remains entirely under Israel’s authority.
