Egypt and Turkey Sign Strategic Joint Declaration During Erdogan’s Official Visit

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a joint strategic declaration during the second session of the Strategic Cooperation Council. The signing took place during Erdogan’s official visit to Egypt, where the two leaders discussed enhancing trade relations and regional developments.

The two sides agreed to increase the volume of trade exchanges between their countries to $15 billion in the coming years. This marks a significant step in bilateral relations, which had previously been strained over issues such as Libya and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
