Iraqi Foreign Minister Supports Iran-US Negotiations in Muscat

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has endorsed the indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Muscat, emphasizing regional countries’ responsibility to avert the risk of war.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has expressed support for the indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, currently taking place in Muscat. Hussein stressed that regional nations must work to eliminate the threat of war in the area. His remarks come as Tehran and Washington are expected to begin a new round of talks.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister also welcomed the agreement between the Syrian government and Kurdish forces, stating his satisfaction with the outcomes. Although the deal is considered fragile, it has been met with approval from various countries.
