OpenAI Unveils New Codex GPT-5.3 Model to Enhance Developer Capabilities

According to the Economic Desk of Webangah News Agency, OpenAI introduced Codex GPT-5.3, an advanced AI-driven coding tool aimed at revolutionizing software development. The new model enhances the capabilities of its predecessor, Codex, transforming it from a basic code-writing assistant into a versatile tool capable of performing nearly all tasks handled by developers and IT professionals.

The company claims that Codex GPT-5.3 operates 25% faster than the previous version, Codex GPT-5.2, and can develop complex, functional applications and games from scratch within days. OpenAI’s internal benchmarks highlight the model’s ability to streamline workflows and expand the pool of individuals capable of building software.

The release follows rival firm Anthropic’s recent launch of its own AI coding model. Initially, both companies planned simultaneous releases, but Anthropic adjusted its schedule, moving its announcement 15 minutes ahead of OpenAI’s to gain a competitive edge in marketing their respective models.
