Lebanese Military Expert Affirms Iran’s Missile Capability to Sink USS Lincoln

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Akram Sreih, a Lebanese military expert, stated that any direct military engagement between Iran and the United States would result in an absolute triumph for the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on published data.
The military analyst further contended that the Pentagon is acutely aware of the dangers associated with entering a full-scale war with Iran. This awareness spans both the magnitude of military damages and the broader strategic implications such an action would have across the Middle East region. Consequently, Washington has reportedly cautioned the current President regarding the severe consequences of pursuing this option.
Sreih emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s power to target and even sink the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, referencing existing military reports. This capability, he noted, stems from Iran’s broad and diverse missile reserves, which enable the execution of devastating attacks.
The military expert detailed that while the USS Lincoln is capable of carrying approximately two hundred missiles, Iran possesses the capacity to simultaneously launch hundreds of ballistic and guided missiles, coupled with the execution of sophisticated drone assaults.
Iran’s military doctrine is not predicated on direct, classic engagements. Instead, this doctrine centers on exhausting the adversary and precisely targeting its vulnerabilities, particularly the United States Navy, which functions as a strategic symbol for that nation. Any military conflict with Iran would not be cost-free for the United States and would initiate a perilous strategic shift in regional power dynamics—a development the United States is actively striving to avoid.
