Israeli Newspaper Acknowledges Iran’s Growing Intelligence Influence in Occupied Territories

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has acknowledged the operation of a broad network aimed at recruiting Israeli settlers in the occupied territories over the past two years. The newspaper reported that Israeli authorities are finding it extremely difficult to fully identify the individuals involved in this espionage network.
Yedioth Ahronoth alleged that this spy network is directly managed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, which it claims demonstrates the success of Iran’s intelligence operations against the forged entity of Israel. Previous reports had also indicated the arrest of a significant number of Israeli settlers on charges of espionage and cooperation with the Iranian government against Tel Aviv.
Furthermore, it was noted that the willingness of settlers in a specific region of the occupied territories to engage in intelligence cooperation with Iran has been very high. This situation is seen as indicative of the erosion of the regime’s legitimacy among its own population.
