Jordan Condemns Israeli Regime’s Illegal Actions in West Bank

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Jordan‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement denouncing the Israeli regime’s illegal and unilateral actions in the occupied West Bank. The statement emphasized Jordan’s firm opposition to the Israeli cabinet’s decisions aimed at imposing illegitimate sovereignty, expanding settlements, and creating new legal and administrative realities in the region.
The ministry asserted that these measures constitute a blatant violation of the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent, sovereign state within the June 4, 1967 borders, with occupied Jerusalem as its capital. Fuad Al-Majali, the official spokesperson for Jordan’s Foreign Ministry, reiterated Amman’s resolute stance, stating that the Kingdom categorically rejects and condemns these unilateral, illegal, and void actions in the occupied West Bank.
Al-Majali further noted that these actions explicitly violate UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2334, which considers all Israeli efforts to alter the demographic composition, character, and status of Palestinian territories occupied since 1967 as unlawful. The spokesperson warned against the continuation of Israel’s expansionist policies and illegal measures, stressing that such actions exacerbate the cycle of violence and instability in the region.
Concluding the statement, Al-Majali called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by exerting effective pressure on the Israeli regime to immediately halt escalating tensions, cease illegal activities, and respect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state.
