Israeli Regime Prepares to Implement Law Executing Palestinian Prisoners

The Israeli regime has initiated special preparations to enforce a law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners, with a dedicated unit being established to carry out the sentences, according to reports.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime has begun laying the groundwork to implement a law permitting the execution of Palestinian prisoners. Channel 13 of the Israeli regime’s television reported that authorities in charge of prisons have started special preparations for this purpose.

The law, initially approved by the Israeli parliament (Knesset), targets prisoners accused by the regime of carrying out or planning attacks. A specialized unit, dubbed the “Israeli Green Corridor,” is being formed within the prison system to execute the death sentences, with personnel undergoing specific training.

Team members will be selected voluntarily, and guards will receive specialized instruction. Informed sources indicate that executions will be carried out within 90 days of a final verdict being issued.

The plan prioritizes the execution of elite Hamas members involved in the October 7, 2023 attack, followed by prisoners convicted of carrying out dangerous attacks in the West Bank. This development comes after 12 UN experts previously urged Tel Aviv to halt the implementation of the death penalty for “terrorist acts.”
