Russian Defense Ministry Downs Over 1,000 Ukrainian Drones in One Week
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 1,096 Ukrainian drones over its airspace in the past week, while also claiming territorial gains in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry has announced the downing of over 1,000 Ukrainian drones within a single week. Defense systems successfully intercepted 1,096 unmanned aerial vehicles violating Russian airspace, with the majority of engagements occurring on Monday and Thursday.
In addition to these aerial defenses, Russian forces reportedly captured the settlements of Sidorovka in Sumy region and Glushkovka in Kharkiv. Despite multiple rounds of peace talks, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine persists, with territorial disputes remaining the primary obstacle to any potential agreement between the warring nations.
