Kremlin Confirms Ongoing Dialogue with Cuba, Pledges Assistance Amidst U.S. Pressure

The Kremlin has affirmed that Moscow maintains communication channels with Cuba and stands ready to provide assistance, according to Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Peskov highlighted that U.S. actions are creating numerous challenges for Cuba, prompting Russia’s commitment to aid its ally.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Monday that Russia is in discussions with Cuba to address challenges and offer any feasible aid to the island nation.
Peskov stated that the restrictive measures imposed by the U.S. are causing significant difficulties for Cuba. Moscow, he added, is maintaining close contact with its Cuban counterparts through diplomatic channels.
Referencing the critical situation in Cuba, the Kremlin spokesman conveyed Russia’s awareness of the circumstances and its dedication to providing the necessary support to the country.
It is worth noting that the Trump administration recently intensified its unilateral economic pressures on Havana.
