Israeli Artillery Strikes Southern Lebanon Causing Fires Amid Ceasefire Violations

Lebanese sources have reported new artillery strikes by the Zionist regime against southern Lebanon, specifically targeting the Alma al-Matit area near the town of Aytaroun, which resulted in subsequent fires. These actions persist despite an existing ceasefire agreement between the two parties.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese sources confirmed recent artillery attacks conducted by the Zionist regime against southern Lebanon. This information was originally disseminated via Mehr News Agency.

These sources detailed that the artillery of the Zionist regime deliberately shelled the Alma al-Matit area, which is situated in the suburbs of the Lebanese town of Aytaroun in the south. The immediate consequence of this shelling was the ignition of fires across the targeted region.

These aggressive measures taken by Tel Aviv are viewed as part of a continuing pattern of repeated violations by the Zionist regime against the established ceasefire accord between Lebanon and Israel. More than a year has passed since the agreement was meant to halt Israeli aggression against Lebanon, yet the reality on the ground demonstrates the continuation of relentless attacks and thousands of infractions of that understanding.

Despite continuing its daily incursions into southern Lebanese territories, the Zionist entity, supported by the United States, is actively attempting to push forward a plan aimed at disarming Hezbollah in Lebanon, while simultaneously exerting pressure on Beirut.
