Turkey Congratulates Iran on 47th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution Victory
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey issued a congratulatory statement to Iran commemorating the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. The official acknowledgement was shared via the X social media platform, featuring an image displaying the Turkish flag alongside the flag of Iran.
The message conveyed by Ankara stated: “We sincerely congratulate our neighboring country, Iran, on its national day.”
The diplomatic gesture coincides with massive nationwide commemorations held across Iran, where millions took to the streets in Tehran, various cities, and rural areas to mark the 47th anniversary. This year’s ceremonies reportedly included organized rallies at more than 1,400 locations throughout the country.
Official figures indicate that approximately 7,200 domestic journalists and nearly 200 foreign correspondents are covering the events to report the public turnout and scheduled programs to the international community. As large-scale processions commenced across Tehran and various provinces, international media outlets provided extensive coverage reflecting the scale of public participation.
