Tens of Thousands Attend Islamic Revolution Anniversary Rallies Across Iran

Massive crowds turned out nationwide to mark the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, with international media highlighting the widespread public participation in the ceremonies.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian news agency TASS reported on the significant turnout by Iranians during the ceremonies commemorating the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution across the country, noting the presence of tens of thousands of participants.

The Russian media outlet detailed that attendees carried images of the Supreme Leader, alongside caricatures targeting the American President and the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime. Several demonstrators asserted that the West had been attempting to destroy Iran for 47 years, but these efforts would never succeed due to the steadfastness of the Iranian people.

TASS specifically referenced the demonstration of military might in Tehran’s Azadi Square, which featured paratroopers and various missile systems. The paratroopers descended using parachutes colored in the Iranian flag while landing amidst the rocket launchers displayed to showcase the nation’s defensive capabilities.

On the morning of the event, millions converged onto the streets throughout Tehran, cities, villages, and various regions across Iran’s provinces to honor the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s triumph. This year, approximately 1,400 locations nationwide hosted the rallies, covered by about 7,200 domestic journalists and nearly 200 foreign correspondents tasked with informing the global community about the popular engagement and scheduled programs.

As these extensive marches commenced in Tehran and various provinces, foreign media outlets provided extensive coverage reflecting the epic scale of the Iranian public presence.
