French Politician Alleges White House Prioritizes Zelenskyy Removal for Peace Talks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French politician and leader of the Patriots party, Florian Philippot, has claimed that United States President Donald Trump considers Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a roadblock to achieving peace.
Philippot alleged that the US administration prefers this obstacle be removed through the holding of presidential elections in Ukraine. The French politician sharply criticized the current situation involving Zelenskyy, French President Emmanuel Macron, and the warmongering elements within the European Union, describing the state of affairs as catastrophic.
Despite multiple rounds of negotiations, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine persists, with territorial integrity remaining the most significant impediment to a comprehensive agreement between the two parties. Both Moscow and Kyiv are actively striving to maintain and expand their controlled territories to gain leverage both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table.
Earlier, Matthew Whitaker, the United States Permanent Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), had indicated expectations that territorial disputes would be settled in the coming days and weeks. Whitaker further disclosed that participants in the process aimed at resolving the Ukraine crisis are currently finalizing four key documents: a 20-point peace plan, a compilation of multilateral security guarantees, specific security assurances from the United States, and a post-conflict economic growth and prosperity program.
